Welcome back to my Blog!! I am so thrilled to be back on the blog! I miss you guys so much, but I had to start my doctorate degree and have been so busy so I have unfortunately not been as present here on the blog. But I am back! And so happy to be back on today. Today, I am sharing with you a new product ( at least for me!) that I have been eyeing for quite some time. This product is the PMD (Personal Microderm). Especially in these times with COVID-19 wreaking havoc on life as we know it, being able to care for your skin and other aspects of your beauty regime on your own has become the new normal. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use of this product, and in addition, the great results from just a few uses.
Those of you who have been with me for a long time know that I am very picky about what I do to my skin, as it is very sensitive. I have long struggled with clogged pores, uneven texture, and dry patches, in addition to ugly breakouts. If you are like me at all, then please read on to see how Personal Microderm could possibly work for your skin. I have used different lotions, creams and masks but none of them can completely obliterate the skin issues I mentioned. I received the PMD device free(thank you so much for sending this for my review!! ) a few weeks ago and have made it part of my routine. Every Saturday is beauty day, as I love to take a day to de-stress and pamper myself, especially my skin. I do masks, manis, pedis and ensure that I am all relaxed and happy.
The PMD system comes with:
- the Personal Microderm Pro device
- body and facial caps
- power adapter
- white training disc (which is on it when you unbox it)
- 2 very sensitive gray discs
- 2 sensitive blue discs
- 2 moderate green discs
- 2 very coarse red discs
- 1 reusable filter
How to use:
How To Use:
Step 1: Start with clean dry skin. I like to use a gentle cleanser prior to starting. Pat dry your skin, no rubbing because your skin can become irritated!
Step 2: Place disc of choice and screw on cap (always start with the white training disc!) After a use or two, I moved on to the gray one, which works amazing!
Step 3: Plug in and turn on device.
Step 4: Glide over skin following the curves of your face
Remember: Keep the device constantly moving, don’t hover over any spots, do only one pass per area per treatment, pull skin taut for a smoother pass!
Step 5: Follow with a calming toner & moisturizer
Repeat every 5-7 days. Do this according to how your skin may be able to handle it. I am still doing weekly, but plan to move on to every 5 days.
I love that it comes with a variety of attachments, as your skin will become used to each one and you may later change out the discs to your preference. The body ones are great for the hands, elbows and knees too!I have noticed my skin is doing much better than before using it, as I have seen a reduction of fine lines (hooray) and a definite increase in hydration. The uneven skin tone and texture I mentioned, have begun to dissipate, as well. An added benefit is that my expensive skincare products are actually absorbing better into the skin now that there are no barriers to its absorption. In turn, my skin is smoother and looks much healthier.
This system is priced at US$199.00 and is worth every penny in my personal opinion!! You can use this link to purchase yours too! Let me know how it goes for you!
