I want to welcome you all back with a review on a new Exuviance product I received recently; this time a peel for the skin. It was sent to me by BrandBacker and I have been using this product for a few weeks. This is product is a performance peel (AP 25). It contains 12 peels, which can be a 6 week or a 12 week supply, depending, on how you choose o use it. The peel may be used up to twice a week on face, backs of hands, neck, chest and body. I have sensitive skin, so I chose to do the 12 week duration so my skin can gently benefit from the experience.
For my review, I wanted to see how effective the peel would be on my face.
The packaging of the product makes its use extremely simple; instructions are printed on the package and also on the individual peel components to ensure that you are able to perform the steps to perfection. Each part is sealed in an individual packet, which helps keep germs and contamination at bay. It has two components, one is an active agent and the other will deactivate the product.
One thing I noticed when reading the instructions that I liked was that if you experience any discomfort, you are able to deactivate the product using step 2. This safety feature is important to note when using especially if you have sensitive skin. I was excited to see what results I would discover with the use of the product.
When you open the individual packets you will find that there is a saturated cotton circle which you will use on your skin. The instructions specify to avoid the eye area and the area around the lips. Additionally, you must avoid any sensitive area of skin. After applying the product, I left it on for approximately 10 minutes. A good tip is to set a timer so you don’t over expose your skin to chemicals that can potentially hurt you.
After the time is up, use step two over all the skin to deactivate the product. Step 2 looks just like step one; a cotton pad saturated with the product. Immediately afterwards, I washed my skin with warm water. When doing so, I noticed a bit of tenderness on one side of my face. It seems I applied the product too close to the delicate skin of my eye area, so heads up to thats you do not make the same mistake. The last step is to moisturize with your favorite product. I skipped toning as a result of the sensitivity in the one area. After a few minutes, my skin felt better, but I made sure for the next time to avoid delicate areas.
I have used half of the product thus far and all in all, I noticed an improvement in my skin’s texture and pore size which is amazing. I love the face that my skin is looking healthier and even some touch acne marks have been fading away, which for me is a huge bonus. If you are thinking about trying an at-home peel, this is a very easy way to make your skin look better. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the use and application, as well as the results; which I imagine will continue to improve as I continue to use the product. Fue enviado por BrandBacker y he estado usando este producto por algunas semanas. Este producto es un peeling de rendimiento (AP 25). Contiene 12 exfoliaciones, que pueden ser de 6 semanas o 12 semanas, dependiendo de cómo elijas usarlo. Parece que apliqué el producto demasiado cerca de la delicada piel del área de mis ojos, así que es mejor que no cometas el mismo error. El último paso es hidratar con tu producto favorito. Me salteé el paso del astringente como resultado de la sensibilidad en el rostro . Después de unos minutos, mi piel se sintió mejor, pero me aseguré de que la próxima vez evitara las áreas delicadas.
He usado la mitad del producto hasta ahora y, en general, noté una mejora en la textura y el tamaño de poros de mi piel, que es increíble. Me encanta la apariencia de mi piel se ve más saludable e incluso algunas marcas de acné se han ido desvaneciendo, lo que para mí es una gran ventaja. Si está pensando en probar un exfoliante químico en el hogar, esta es una manera muy fácil de mejorar su apariencia. Realmente disfruté de la simplicidad del uso y la aplicación, así como de los resultados; que imagino que continuará mejorando a medida que sigo utilizando el producto.
